What Are The Benefits Of Yoga


In the west, YOGA is a concern as a physical exercise. But, Originally, the YOGA comes from Hindu culture’s discipline and it is for our body and mine. 

The YOGA, a group of Physical, Mental, and spiritual disciplines has a great history. YOGA was a part of the Indian culture from The Indus Valley Civilisation (IVC) around 3000 BCE. As a systematic study, YOGA most likely developed around the 5th and 6th century BCE.

Today, many people around the world benefited from YOGA. Great mobility, Longer life, and Internal happiness can be experienced by YOGA practitioners. In this modern age, people consider YOGA as a living of art. YOGA is no longer a myth. 


Basically, there are three categories in YOGA practices. 

  1. Yoga Postures ( Asanas)
  2. Yoga Breathing (Pranayama)
  3. Meditation

The 3 type of YOGA category helps to improve the physiological, psychological, and biochemical areas of our body. 

The subject of YOGA is very broad. It is like a see and one person can not drink and over. Hence, the YOGA Gurus has introduced several YOGA schemes (Styles) in order to get benefit from YOGA to everyone. 

Hatha Yoga- The most popular YOGA style in the west.

Ananda Yoga – The classical style of Hatha YOGA

Anusara Yoga – This style is developed by John Friend. It is a heart-oriented YOGA style

Ashtanga Yoga – This style is developed by K. Pattabhi Jois. This is a kind of advanced version of YOGA and not recommend for beginners. 

Bikram Yoga – This style is developed by Bikram Choudhury.  This style is practice in a room with 100-degree temperatures. Bikram Yoga helps us to the cleansing of the body, the release of toxins, and ultimate flexibility.

We can not practice YOGA alone. We need someone help. So, if you want to practice YOGA, fist of all you have to find a good trainer. GOOD LUCK.
